2010 Mooring Foundation Scholar

Aziza Tichavakunda

Aziza Tichavakunda is a student of the District of Columbia Public School System. She is a 2010 graduate from the International Baccalaureate Program at Benjamin Banneker Academic High School.

Along with being the Salutatorian in the graduating class, Aziza is a Ben Carson Scholar and has won awards such as the National Achievement Award, the Claes Nobel National Society of High School Scholars Academic Award, and Who's Who in American High Schools. Aziza will be attending Yale University in 2010 and is excited to pursue new academic and community service projects.
