Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, Black or African American and current high school seniors at the time of their application. College students are not eligible to apply.
Application materials must be submitted in one packet. Transcripts and letters of recommendation should not be sent under separate cover. SAT / ACT scores must be included on the application at the time it is mailed.
Incomplete, e-mailed or faxed applications will not be considered.

Application Deadline
The current deadline to apply for the Mooring Scholarship is April 15, 2011 (students must be high school graduating seniors at the time that they submit their application).

Award Announcements
Winners of the Mooring scholarship will be notified by May 31, 2011 and names will be posted on the Mooring Scholarship Foundation website.
